Simple facts. Gratitude has grown to a community of 89 volunteers. About 40 of which are active pretty well every week. Programmes are rapidly expanding into new areas of working with youth and local businesses. Which means the whole project is expanding exponentially. We have sourced and shared with people in need £2 million worth of food. Now we are supplying cleaning and hygiene products to our community and particularly into local schools, clinics and other public service institutions. Also we have opened an area of ‘mother and baby supplies’. This provides baby milk, nappies and a range of clothing upto and including school age (we have a range of school unforms). We have a charity clothing ‘shop’ which is based on donations. Everyone is a volunteer and the project is financially sustainable. This has been built over 8 years and really took off from the beginning of the pandemic.
